In Memory...
It is with tremendous grief that we honor the memory of one of our own, Lainey Alai Malo. Lainey passed away on Friday, February 19th, of complications associated with cancer. Her family and friends were at her side she passed away peacefully in her sleep.
Lainey will be remembered for her long career in
the commercial lines insurance industry, but will always be better known for her work outside the industry.
Lainey volunteered at Children's Hospital helping children battling cancer, and was known as an
auntie giving comfort to the children and there families for over 25 years. She also worked on
the board of St. Andrews Housing for 20 years helping find homes and shelter for the homeless. Lainey would routinely put in a full day at the office, then head right over to Children's Hospital or St Andrews until late in the evening.
Lainey's tireless support of others combined with such a vibrant and infectious personality, made her one of a kind. Her kindness and outgoing personality touched many peoples lives, she was loved by many and will be missed by all.
